Scrapbook Circa 1915
In December 2013 the alumni association acquired through eBay a scrapbook dating from around 1912 to 1918. The identity of the brother who created the scrapbook is unknown. It contains more than 100 images of the house and brothers; in addition, it contains dozens of pictures of campus scenes, other Cornellians and sporting events. Most of these pictures have never been seen before. These are first images of the interior of the house from that period that any of us have ever seen.
The scrapbook contains images of campus and sporting events, both in Ithaca and away, that suggest the maker of scrapbook was on the staff of the Daily Sun or the Cornellian.
